Bear Builds

Bear Builds is an interactive mathematics story created by Katherine Stevenson.

Bear’s bed was too small, and he needs your help to build a new one. Explore counting, comparing lengths and measuring with everyday objects as you help Bear find the materials he needs.

The story is designed for shared reading at home or in learning settings, with an educator or parent guiding interactions, supporting discussion and extending the mathematical ideas.

How to play: Click “Run story” to open. Then once inside: "Take a Tour" or “Begin Story”.  Use your mouse to click items, drag building materials and follow Bear’s prompts.
